Date for the 1st Spinal Operation
On Monday we were given the date for Naomi’s 1st Spinal Operation, the 22nd January, just 4 weeks away..... Yesterday Naomi had her hernias fixed which have been getting worse over the last 6 months. She finished school in Luton on Monday, and is resting at home now, gathering energy for Christmas! As a result of tests, the Anaesthetist at the RNOH did whilst we were there for pre-assessment, we need to try and increase Naomi’s weight with supplements, and improve her lung function (which is 55% of what it should be) with local physio’s, before the surgery.
