Operation complete!
Richard has reported a successful day all in all. Naomi was prepared for surgery at 8.30am and the operation took 5 1/2 hours, everything went according to plan. She is recovering in the high dependency unit and is very sleepy, having morphine for the pain. Naomi will need to be turned over every 2 hours now. Richard and Rachel managed to pass the time feeling at peace which they are very thankful for.

Hi Naomi!
Glad to hear things are going well - we are thinking about you and praying for you every day. Hope you enjoy having time to watch your DVD player while you're recovering!
Lots of love

Much love from the Templeman Family! We are thinking of you all and praying for the best possible result for Naomi.
We hope to see you all in your new home before too long!
Although it has been hard being so far away while you are all going through this difficult time, it has been very special to be part of the little band of pray-ers over here in California who are praying for Naomi, keeping the candle burning, while many of you are sleeping.
The words of the hymn "The day You gave us, Lord, is ended" came alive to me today, as Rachel sent me update texts from the hospital where she was watching with Naomi through the small hours:
"We thank You that Your church unsleeping while earth rolls onward into light, through all the world her watch is keeping and rests not now by day or night...the voice of prayer is never silent, nor dies the strain of praise away."
With all my love, prayers and big (gentle) hugs and kisses.
