Home again

We all arrvied home at lunchtime today...phew... It is such a relief to have Naomi back home and it is so good to be back in a peaceful environment.
Naomi will be at home for 4-6 weeks resting and getting used to her different mobility levels before returning to school.
The surgeon will see Naomi again in March, and is planning the 1st of the 10 or so operations to extend the rods in May.
The link below will take you to a video that we put together during the many hours by Naomis bedside. A similar one we found on You Tube helped prepare us for this time, and it is our hope that others facing this experience can draw from it....

What a fab video! You really are "stronger now than ever" and I hope the video will help other people go through what you've gone through with the same courage. Looking forward to being able to take your hand, "together we will celebrate" when I'm back in England very soon.

With all my love, Auntie Clare

Naomi -
"Home again home again, jiggety jog."
As we have followed your miraculous progress, we count it an honour to be your family and give thanks to God for giving us such an amazing, brave, tolerant and beautiful little girl to care for.
Your wonderful Mum & Dad and little brother are blessed too by God placing you in their care. They are so godly, gentle and caring and .....the list is endless!
Sleep well all of you and we pray you soon 'de-hospitalise'.
